Texas
Texas is the canadian equivalent to Newfoundland; existing within a federation but not really of it. People here are proud and fiercely independent. They are texan’s first and americans second. They have their own distinct culture of music and cuisine. They speak differently.
We should do fine.
s

good luck with that , then.

Rock their faces off as only you can do!
You just made me even prouder to be a Texan.
Glad to hear you’re loving our State and I wish I were closer to come see you rock Irishfest. Rock it!
Well, Sean, as one who is traveling from Louisiana (another state all its own country!) on over to Houston to see you and the boys perform, I can almost guarantee you’re gonna do just great. Can’t wait to see you all and get a healthy dose of some Newfoundland love. Here’s wishing you all the best between now and then!

Originally from the East coast, I spent my 20’s in Texas, I completely agree with your assessment. There is something about Texas. Once it gets under your skin and into your blood it never leaves you. It seems to be calling me to return. Living in Ontario now, I long for Texas and hope to soon return to fields of bluebonnets, wonderous lightning storms and wide open spaces.
I looked at the line up of performers the other day….kind of funny that almost all the acts are…CANADIAN! AND from your end of the country! Hope you all had fun. I’m sure the audience did.
Your show tonight was amazing! I’ve seen you in Boston a few times but tonight took the cake! UH – MAZING! Please come back to Houston again soon!
We drove fourteen hours round trip to come see you guys in Dallas. You are worth every mile! You rock!
The show at the North Texas Irish Festival was amazing. After watching the Barra MacNeils, The Irish Descendants and then topping the day off with Great Big Sea, I have never felt so homesick. I had a great taste of home last weekend and hope that you guys will be at the NTIF again next year, I know I will!
Thanks for the great memories.
