When the bough breaks…

It’s been just over a year since I went into gbstudio to finally deal with some “unfinished business”. I remember it being wet and very cold; a typical St. John’s winter. The band had scattered after a punishing fall tour and I, for better or worse, was left alone. “Lullabies for Bloodshot Eyes” is the result of that solitude and, I hope, a new voice for me to reach you.

To that end, the remarkable people at Sonic Entertainment (Janesta, Glen, Mike, and, of course Louis) and my big little brother Kevin have worked together to create this, my new online home. From here I can indulge my frequent flights of fancy and share them all with you. That is, of course, as soon as I learn how to drive this thing…

Baby steps.

Greetings and welcome to you all

Much Love

  8. The new site looks lovely, Sean–it suits you. I was privileged to hear one of the contest winner’s ringtones, and it was hilarious and creative, and made me ever-so-jealous! I am a longtime fan of GBS, and am delighted to see your solo efforts–may they be a success and the first of many. I will definitely buy your CD just as soon as it becomes available and thank you for the bonus track! “My Left Hand” was so funny, I had to listen to it twice; I’m sure I’ll be listening to it again. But then I always listen to your work over and over.

  9. Great layout on the sight. Looks amazing. I am looking forward to your growth here. Hopefully touring will start soon (Ani Difranco’s Church in Buffalo is amazing if you get a chance to perform there that would be wonderful.) Love all the pictures, especially the one with you and the little guy looking out over the forest.

    Congrats, and enjoy the success!

  14. Congratulations to you Sean & to everyone that has helped you to create your new “online home”! Great site! Nice pictures!
Happy to hear that you’ll be indulging your “frequent flights of fancy”, it just means that there will be more treats for all of us! Love all the songs, especially “Gone Tomorrow”. You’re never really alone Sean, you have all of us thinking of you & wishing you well. As to “living up to the hopes & dreams of brand new eyes”, don’t worry, I think that you’ll do well, just relax & be yourself.

  15. Tracks sound as unique as the man himself. Remember GOGO’S in Berlin, good times! Good luck with the project Bro! Come do my circle sometime.

  19. Sean, just finished downloading from Amazon for only 6 bucks. From a fellow Beaconsfield alum, an outstanding album you should be very proud. Only question now is…. tour?
